These terms apply when you use passprepper (this website and the related services). By creating an account or buying a course you agree to them. We've tried to keep this readable; if anything is unclear, email us at contact.
Passprepper is an independent practice-exam platform for IT certifications. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certification vendor (Microsoft, AWS, Google, CompTIA, Cisco, etc.). All vendor names and exam codes are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe which exam a course targets.
Our questions are written from the published exam objectives and from our own studying. They are not the questions that will appear on your real exam. Passing our drills does not guarantee passing the actual certification.
Each paid course is a one-time purchase. Once you've paid, that course stays unlocked on your account - there is no recurring subscription and we don't auto-renew anything. Prices shown are in US dollars and exclude taxes; applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout.
We may update a course you've bought (adding questions, fixing errors, re-recording explanations). You keep access to the updated version at no extra charge.
Paid courses are generally non-refundable - the free preview (the first third of every course) is there so you can verify the content before buying. We do refund duplicate or accidental charges, broken purchases (e.g., payment went through but access wasn't granted), and we honour statutory cooling-off rights where they apply. See the full refund policy for the specifics.
You may use passprepper for personal exam preparation and reasonable note-taking. You may not:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. A suspended account can't sign in or access paid courses; you'll see a notice on your next attempt explaining the reason (if we've recorded one). If your account is terminated for cause, you don't get a refund for previously purchased courses. You can request a review at any time via contact.
If you author a course through the maker and submit it for review, you confirm that you wrote the questions yourself (or have the right to share them) and that they don't reproduce actual certification exam content. You keep ownership of what you write; you grant passprepper a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and sell access to your course on the platform, and to share a portion of the proceeds with you on the terms set out at the time of approval.
Some maker features (drafting questions, improving explanations) use third-party AI providers. Don't paste anything confidential into those flows - we send the contents of your prompt to the provider to generate a response.
We try to keep the site online but we don't guarantee 100% uptime, and we may change or remove features. From time to time we display a slim notice strip at the top of the site for outage windows, launches, or other ops messages; these are time-bound and informational. If we materially change these terms we'll email account holders at least 14 days in advance.
Passprepper is provided as-is. We don't guarantee that you'll pass any certification or that our questions exactly match the real exam. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the passprepper operating entity is registered. Disputes are handled in the courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any consumer-protection rights you have under the law where you live.
